The Nitro Blaze 8 comes with an 8.8-inch display with the same 2560 x 1600 resolution but a higher refresh rate of 144 Hz. The handheld is similar to the 11-inch iteration in most respects except for the screen size, but weighs significantly less and has a non-detachable controller. On the other hand, the Nitro Blaze 11 brings detachable controllers, allowing you to play by keeping the screen on a desk.

Equipped with the Ryzen 7 8840HS processor, the handhelds run on Zen 4-powered hardware with Radeon 780M graphics to deliver a satisfactory gaming experience. However, due to the increase in resolution, expect lower performance compared to the Nitro Blaze 7. Other specs include 16 GB LPDDR5X SDRAM clocked at 7500 MTs and up to 2 TB of M.2 PCI-E Gen 4 SSD.
For control, both handhelds bring additional macro buttons compared to Nitro Blaze 7 and have more powerful 2x 2W speakers for decent audio delivery. The battery life is also increased from 50 to 55W on both and there are some visible changes in the connectivity area as well. The Nitro Blaze 11 and 8 now come with more USB ports, including an additional USB 3.2 Type C port and one USB 3.2 Type-A port as well.
The Nitro Blaze 8 brings a noticeably bigger form factor than the Blaze 7, measuring 30.5 x 13.4 x 2.2 cm and a weight of 720 g compared to the 670 g of Blaze 7. The Blaze 11 is bigger and heavier, with dimensions of 36.4 x 17.1 x 1.59 cm and 1050 g weight respectively.
The Acer Nitro Blaze 8 (GN782U) starts at $899 and the Nitro Blaze 11 (GN7112U) starts at $1099. For other regions, the price starts at €999 and €1199 respectively, and both will be available in Q2 in NA and EMEA regions.
