Samsung will reportedly launch at least three new devices—Galaxy S24 FE, Galaxy Tab S10+, and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra—later this month. A few days ago, the images of the Galaxy S24 FE were leaked. Now, just a few days ahead of the phone’s announcement, the official Galaxy S24 FE unboxing video has leaked, revealing everything about the upcoming phone.
Leaked Galaxy S24 FE unboxing video confirms Exynos 2400e chip
The official unboxing video of the Galaxy S24 FE was leaked by leakster Evan Blass (@evleaks). As you can see in the video below, the Galaxy S24 FE will be available in five colors: Blue, Graphite, Gray, Mint, and Yellow. The device looks extremely similar to the Galaxy S24+, and the only visible difference appears to be the width of the bezels.
The Galaxy S24 FE will come bundled with a three-feet USB Type-C to USB Type-C cable and a SIM ejector tool. As usual, Samsung won’t bundle a charger with its phone. The video reveals that the Galaxy S24 FE has a 50MP primary rear camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, an 8MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and a 10MP selfie camera. The phone also features ProVisual Engine, which uses the chip’s faster ISP and NPU for improved image and video quality.
The upcoming phone also features the Exynos 2400e chip, which appears to be a downclocked version of the Exynos 2400 that is used in the Galaxy S24 and the Galaxy S24+. The video also confirms that the Galaxy S24 FE has a 6.7-inch screen, an upgrade over the Galaxy S23 FE’s 6.4-inch screen. The screen is now brighter, at 1,900 nits, which is 500 nits brighter than the Galaxy S23 FE’s screen.
The leaked video also reveals that the Galaxy S24 FE has a 4,700mAh battery, which is 200mAh higher than the capacity of the Galaxy S24 FE’s battery. Samsung claims the phone can last up to 81 hours of music playback and 28 hours of video playback. The phone has an aluminum frame, Gorilla Glass Victus+ screen protection, and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
Samsung will likely launch the Galaxy S24 FE with One UI 6.1.1 onboard. You can watch One UI 6.1.1 features in our in-depth video below.
The video also revealed that the Galaxy S24 FE will come with Galaxy AI pre-installed. Hopefully, the phone will get seven years of Android OS updates, similar to the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Flip 5, and Galaxy Z Fold 5.
