Nevada’s nonrestricted gaming licensees reported a total “gaming win” of $1,316,462,271 for November, according to the Nevada Gaming Control Board’s latest monthly report. This amounts to a 4.21 percent decrease compared to the same month a year ago when licensees reported a gaming win of $1,374,357,540. For the fiscal year, the gaming win has decreased by 2.85 percent with $6,385,889,170 in “win”.
The “gaming win” represents the computed income of casinos before business expenses and taxes.
For Lake Tahoe’s south shore, the “win” revenue was $14,417,193 in November, down 20.30 percent from November 2023’s $18,089,918. For its fiscal year, revenue win is down by 4.29 percent as compared to the previous year when the “win” was $119,418,262.
Many other areas in the state also saw double-digit declines in “win” for the month. On the south shore, $3,986,000 came from table games and $10,431,000 from slots.
Carson Valley area casinos reported a $11,372,680 gaming win, up 2.72 percent. On the North Shore, the reported gaming win of $1,785,262 was up 8.86 percent.
Casinos in Reno, Sparks, and other areas of Washoe County saw gaming-related revenue decrease over the last year collectively by 5.99 percent with a “win” of $76,064,042.
Las Vegas/Clark County casinos had a “win” of $1,163,467,948, down 4.23 percent over the same month last year.
For the fiscal year, the State of Nevada has collected $489,387,581 in percentage fees.
