Sony has announced its latest PlayStation State of Play, which is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, September 24 at 3pm PT.
In its official announcement, Sony said that the presentation would focus on updates on over 20 games. It’s set to take place just a few days before Tokyo Game Show, which will include the first public presentation of the PlayStation 5 Pro. The stream will last 30+ minutes, Sony says.
Per usual, the State of Play will be available on all of PlayStation’s social channels, including Twitch and YouTube. We’ll also be streaming it on IGN’s own channels.
As for what the State of Play will include, our Everything Announced from last year’s State of Play should give you a rough idea. While it’s apt to mainly focus on announced games and the PS5 Pro, don’t be shocked if Sony sneaks in a surprise announcement. Two years ago, for instance, PlayStation announced Tekken 8 as part of its September State of Play.

Regardless, we’ll have all of the announcements right here, so make sure to keep it locked on IGN. And while you wait, you can check out all the best games released in 2024 so far as well as our PS5 Pro coverage so far.
